The National HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis and STIs Control Programme (NASCP) is a division of the Department of Public Health, in the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Health and Social Services (FMoHSV).
The concept of NASCP and its mandate is to coordinate the formulation and effective implementation of the Nigeria government policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures for the prevention of new HIV infections as well as improve on the existing treatment, care and support for those persons already infected and affected by the virus in the country.

Module 3 focuses on using the Standard Q HIV 1/2 and HIV/Syphilis combo test. Unit 1 covers blood specimen collection, preparation, and storage. 2 explains how to use the Standard Q test. Unit 3 addresses referral and linkage, while 4 highlights data reporting and record keeping.
